I wanted to extend our appreciation to Dr, Michael Wishnack, and Dr. Kristina Welsh for the loving hand you provided for our boy Rausch throughout his visits. As pet owners, we all know the day will come when we will have to say "so long" to our good friends. However, nothing can ever prepare you for that day. As we struggled to find a way to keep Rausch with us and selfishly avoid our heartache, we realized his recovery possibly was fading and the time we all fear may be approaching. A special thanks to you Rachael Walton for your professional wisdom regarding Rausch’s treatment. Thank you for your emotional assistance during those last few minutes with Rausch. He was an amazing companion that we will always cherish and miss everyday! I will always remember the day I choose to be Rausch's mommy, I rushed over to the Poway Animal Emergency clinic after his original owners signed him over because he had Parvo virus. I decided I couldn't resist his wet face smiling back at me...how could I say no to that face. I was descent to be his mommy, so since I rushed to meet him his name was given. I wasn't too happy knowing I had to care for a puppy for the first time in my life but I sure was glad I was his mommy even if it was for a short time. He truly did make me very happy and I miss him so much, "My Rauschie, My Boy, My Buddy" RIP 10/28/2005 - 09/05/2019
